It took a few minutes to wire and mount but after I got it where I wanted and properly situated, it seems to work just fine. I put mine in the basement because when the power goes out, it is very, very dark there and the basement also serves as our storm shelter so it is at times necessary go down there when the power is out. After the unit is fully charged it puts out adequate light for many hours. It has a red indicator light to show that it is powered and charging and a test button as well. It is lightweight.

Great lights... exactly as described. What made this a great experience was that when my lights arrived they were damaged but company took back and sent out new ones before I could even start worrying after taking package to Khols for simple return... Amazing customer service... as usual
