Fabric is very nice to the touch. Warm. Does not slide off the bed. Very pleased with this.

It dropped below 31 degrees the night I used this sleeping bag on a camping trip in a tent. I had to sleep with my jacket on, lay a throw blanket over myself, and place a thick yoga mat on my cot to try to retain heat. Despite that, my feet were cold, red, and swollen by morning. Wearing socks might have helped a little. I kept falling asleep and waking up, wishing I’d bought a different sleeping bag—lol. Unless it’s 50 degrees or warmer, I don’t think I’ll be camping outside again, so I’m fine with it because I like the cotton fabric.

My Mountainlodge sleeping bag arrived on time and in good condition today. An admittedly low bar but welcome to current year. The bag is thick and heavy and seems warm. It reminds me of my old BSA sleeping bag. I am not looking forward to washing it and good luck getting it to pack down enough to fit back into its carry sack. All in all, it seems worth the money.

I've been looking for a sleeping bag just like this to replace a mummy bag style sleeping bag that I've been using the past few years. I have a tent that fits in the back of my Tacoma and a wonderful 4-inch memory foam mattress that I bought on Amazon that makes things really cozy. I inherited the mummy bag sleeping bag from my father and it's a nice one from Cabela's and living in the midwest I understand why he'd choose that style, but for me, living in the Pacific Northwest it was overkill and makes me feel claustrophobic. This sleeping bag is better than I was expecting, especially at this price point. And it's the perfect shape that I can unzip the side of the bag at night, if I get too hot, and put one leg out. I like to sleep that way to keep from getting too hot and this bag is great for that. The zippers are nice and large, so easy to locate in the dark in the middle of zero hour when you have to get up and go to the bathroom. I also very much appreciate that the zipper doesn't get snagged in the fabric. It's a combination of the larger teeth, the smooth operation of the zipper, and the way the zipper is sewn into the fabric.Speaking of fabric, I love the flannel feel of this cotton sleeping bag. The exterior shell is cotton, but it has a nice, rigid heavy duty feel to it that works great in keeping you dry. Everything is damp in a tent in the morning, so that is very much appreciated. The detachable hood is a nice feature. You can snug it up to help close off any cold drafts, or go mummy style and completely enclose your face, or you can even remove it. I like having it there for the padding and it helps keep my pillow in place. One of the most interesting features is the cell phone pocket. If you've ever woken up and tried to find your phone in a cold, dark tent you'll appreciate this feature. The flap is sewn on three sides, so you have to lift up the flap, open the pocket and slide your phone in and work the top flap over it. The design isn't exactly easy access, but it keeps your phone secure and dry and you'll know exactly where it is. There is also a compression bag and a loose fit carrying bag. The sleeping bag is easy to roll up, just fold in half and start at one end and slowly roll it up tightly to compress as you roll. The compression bag will keep it all nice and tidy and there is a drawstring opening with a sewn in flap to cover the opening from getting any moisture.I love this sleeping bag and the fact that it's cotton makes it even better. I'm not hiking with it, so the extra weight is not an issue for me, but I can see that it might be for hikers. But less than 7 pounds is great. I was really impressed with this sleeping bag. The only complaint was with the width. I'm 6' tall and there was plenty of room to stretch out, but when the bag is completely zipped up, it was tough for me to roll over to my side. And rolling over to the other side was really hard. I wish it had a few more inches in width, but the benefits far outweigh this complaint. This review is based on my personal experience using the product and my honest opinion. I was not paid for this review, it’s just genuine, unbiased feedback from an Amazon shopper who hopes this review helps you make the best choice.

Nothing to dislike about it, it's a fine bag for a good price. I like the extended hood on the bottom.
