  • Output Voltage Adjusting: The speed controller regulator can easily adjust the output voltage on a scale of (nonlinear) to power electric device.
  • 80A Current: The speed controller regulator is of new two ways large power silicon controlled rectifier and the current can be up to 80A, which is a good solution to over current of electric stove wire caused by low during cooling.
  • Stable and : This voltage regulator is adjusted with button which is much more stable than potentiometer. Voltage regulator has voltage absorbing circuit and effective large power silicon controlled rectifier, longer service life and more .
  • Heat Dissipation Enhancing: Designed with large and thick heat sink, the speed controller regulator can enhance heat dissipation more effectively.
  • Wide Application: The speed controller regulator can be used as power supply for large electrical devices of less than 10000W, enough for household appliances or for small factory, could be widely used as heat controller on electric stoves, water heaters, light dimmer on lamps, speed controller on small motors, or temperature controller on electric soldering iron, etc.

Works great so far on my treadmill motor would buy again if needed, very happy with purchase. If you need to control a dc motor I would recommend this for sure.

It seems that a very large lot of these have been sent to Amazon to sell. They do not regulate the voltage at all. The output does not go up or down. When using the controller, be careful, you could blow up some other components.

Beware, this device does not handle switched power. After remodeling my house, the new a/c ducts were smaller. Result, high speed air rushing out with a very loud whooshing noise. So I thought reducing the blower fan speed might drop the air speed and reduce the noise.Fan is 220VAC 5A max. So max wattage would be 1,100W, well within the specified 10,000W limit. I installed this device and experimented with the speed. At 20% I got to a very acceptable speed and much lower noise. However, after the thermostat got to the set temperature, it turned the system off. When it tried to turn the fan on again, it did not work. Upon investigation, I found the fan juddering and barely moving. I increased the power and at 50%, it all started working but the high speed air and loud whooshing noise came back. Remember, this device does not work linearly.Anyway, after much investigation I found that the float switch on the condensation drain line was activated due to excess condensation. After I sorted that out I was closing everything up when I noticed teeny sparks at a pin nearest the power input terminals. As I disconnected power to the system, there was a larger spark. Same when I reconnected. While the device display showed 50% as normal, I couldn't take the risk of a fire within the confines of the air handling unit of my a/c system.Upon examination it looked like a bad solder at that pin. So I ordered another one. As I scrolled down the description I noticed :"2, It can not replace electric bicycles' battery charger, nor drive electric appliances which use switch power supply (such as 110V TV, speaker, refrigerator, air conditioner, rice cooker with a computer), and cannot drive induction cooker, energy saving lamp." I cancelled the order. So I guess when the thermostat switches on the system, there must be that instant peak at switching which ultimately degrades the device. I would have thought a simple filter to absorb this start peak could have been easily added, considering how many devices tend to be switched by time or temperature setting. So minus two stars for this.

Using 90 volt dc brushed motor 1.5 hp from treadmill. Reaches 90 volts at 25 on controller, 86 volts at 24, 82 volts at 23, etc. did not heat up. Nice buttons, clear screen. Beeps. Well made. Must use bridge rectifier diode if input is AC and you want to power dc motor. I used 5010 bridge rectifier. Wiring for 120 volts AC is this: hot and neutral in controller input, output hot / neutral goes from controller to bridge rectifier under tab marked “AC” and the tab diagonal from it (you can put the wires on either electoral tab, it makes no difference because the voltage alternates at 60x / second). Hook the motor up to the remaining two tabs (the one marked “+” and the one diagonal from that). Those motor wires can be switched to go clockwise or counterclockwise clockwise. Start with red hot on the ”+” to test because that’s the “normal” or native direction of your motor and you don’t want a screwed in flywheel flying across the room. Treadmills do have a screwed in flywheel and do not typically go in reverse so it will likely unscrew if going in the non native directions. Don’t hurt motor just something to watch out for.As soon as powered on be ready to crank down the number and test voltage under load. Again, my nominal dc voltage of 90 to motor with this set up was 25 out of 100 on the controller, so all my use will be between 1-25ish.My dc multimeter shows 4 amps under no load at most volts. Using adjustable dc power supply it’s more like .6 amps…. And it has more torque on the dc power supply. But the power difference is negligible. This is a great affordable option to have a working variable speed dc motor with precise adjustment for very little money. Sometimes the newer pulse width modulators can’t be used because of rpm readings or the inability to plug and play a potentiometer. Well, here’s your solution!

I used the speed control to regulate ac power going into a step up/ step down transformer with output going through a 400amp bridge rectifier for controling a 3hp dc motor, it works amazing. I highly reccomand.

Bogs down a bit under load, but I like being able to have a number to reference to dial in speed. The trade off isn't much of a hindrance. I'd buy another one.
