Mandolines have fearsomely sharp blades and their use required rapid work. Save fingers! Get this!! It is well made, fits well and is easy and safe to clean.

Much easier to use than the standard steel guard. One complaint: it does not come apart for cleaning, and food can get stuck inside with no easy way to remove it.

Love this thing!! Makes slicing ridiculously easy. A little work to set up each time, but so worth it

This is a pricey little option for the Bron Mandoline but money well spent. The guard that comes with the machine is fairly useless, this one is far more effective, produces great yield from the vegetables and you never have to worry about slicing your hand while using it. Very nice indeed.
