Each rung has two red buttons that need to pop out when they are locked. One of the buttons wouldn't pop out. I was able to get it out with needle nose pliers, but then I'd have to do that every time. I contacted the seller to see if there was a way to fix it and they sent me out a new one. On the second one, all of the red buttons pop out so that all the rungs are locked. I really like being able to push the bottom buttons and all of the ladder slowly collapses. I like how it is slow so that you can make sure all fingers are out of the way. I use it for attic access so I lean it up against a wall. It is a bit slippery on the wall and so I am going to put some rubber pads on the top to see if that will keep it from sliding. Other than that, I really like it. I just keep it in my closet until I need to get into the attic.

I bought this after my aluminum telescoping ladder got broken. It seems to be a bit sturdier and I like the feature to let it down all at once versus doing one ring at the time. Less chances of getting my fingers smashed between the rungs for sure. I use it all the time around the RV.

I am 330lbs. I needed a ladder to get into the attic that could store on the door of the attic because the existing wood stairs were falling apart. After removing the old stairs, I was able to use two mounted coat hangers from Home Depot to mount this on the door, and a gate latch to hold the door up. I’ve used this ladder at least 20 times already going up and down. I don’t carry items up it (made a pulley in the attic), I don’t work off it (as the instructions say not to) and I maintain the correct angle (in the instructions as well, base at your feet, arms straight out), and I’ve had zero issue or worry about this ladder. I was worried after reading the comments but if used correctly, I see no reason it will not last me years to come. I’m very happy and am recommending it.

Telescoping ladders are a neat idea, but this one collapses onto itself unless you jam up the very bottom rung of the extension. (I did this with a thick towel; this prevented the rung beneath from activating the Release levers attached to the rung just above it.) I found this particular model of telescoping ladder to be not just a bad idea, but an outright dangerous one. I can come up with a simple if external fix, but I also recommend others to NOT BUY THIS LADDER.

I was not expecting much but I am glad I order this. Easy to use and well made for the price. I keep it in my truck as it take minimal space. I use it to clime on my trailer roof no problem. The closing mechanism is very satisfying. You close the top and the air compressed on the sections bellow slows the closing of each step. Very well designed. But it with confidence.

A great buy for the price! The ladder was very sturdy and easily portable. After reviewing the product description, it doesn't mention a free pair of gloves with the order. However, it was shown in the pictures! I found that to be a bit misleading. I'd give it 5 stars if the gloves in the picture were included in the package.

My husband (who is a very hard-working construction type job man) absolutely loves this ladder. It is so handy. It takes up very little space which is quite beneficial especially when it comes to a ladder.

Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and would buy again. It's a collapsible ladder, and it's pretty heavy, which means it's going to be awkward to use unless you have a second person helping you. But you can extend it and use it all by yourself. I have done it. I would just recommend having help if you really want it to be easy. The benefit of it is that it's easily stored away and takes up very little room.
