The description of this product says the carriers are for transport. Unfortunately they're super flimsy and really not great for transport at all. The lid does not "click" or lock into the base, it just rests on top and isn't secure at all. I don't recommend this carrier.

Lid does not feel secure when placed on bottom. It would be ok to use if you don't have to take them anywhere, but if transporting, I would definitely not use these containers. Otherwise, they look nice and are a cute container for small desserts.

The clear top allows you to see then (cake) contents. The gold base is nice as well. I’m not sure if this is big enough for cakes, and may be better for really large muffins. Lid has a bit of taper, so if you have icing that sticks out from the cake, it could hit the topper. There’s a bit of air space under whatever you store/display here, which prevents bakery goods from sticking too much to the bottom.
