I got these for a different purpose. I wanted to use to hold 3d printer rolls with desiccant to help maintain the dryness that helps with 3d FDM printing.These are really pretty thin and don't really close well. While I didn't expect them to be completely air-tight sealed, I did expect them to be sturdy enough to hold the rolls, close and remain closes. Because they are so think hey really are not doing any of it well and I can't really use them as I had hoped. I now there are better quality cake boxes that will work fine.

I was so excited for these but when I received them I was very highly disappointed. They are very thin, even with two bottoms together. The lid and the bottom don't lock together. Unless you tape or staple the two together it won't be good to carry a cake in. No recommendation here.
