Product seems good. However my hot water tank doesn't require an anode. I found out if I were to switch out the nylon plug for these, I would then need to add an anode. Not worth the work to do that, plus I would then have to change the anode every year or so.It would be nice if the hot water tank manufacturers didn't put the drain plug in a stupid location with a gas pipe running across the front of it.
