I don't know if something changed because other reviews say these are easy to install but they aren't. The screw heads are slightly too big for the brackets so they don't fit on easily and it's not possible to slide the hole straight over the screw when the bottom screw is screwed in like it's supposed to be. The screws also slip a lot. I tried every drill bit and every screwdriver we had and nothing would catch. I have a large selection of tools and we're decently handy but both my husband and I had trouble installing these. The brackets themselves are sturdy but the screws are not right.

If you want to hang up two different curtains, these work well and are definitely needed. Sturdy and well made.

Hung sheers & second set of drapes. Would’ve liked the bracket to be a little smaller/shorter as in closer to 3 1/2 inches or 4” in total from wall, would have worked better in my application. Overall strong, sturdy brackets.

I had really heavy curtains that didn't hold well with other brackets. This did the job, although I had to use more brackets this time around to ensure it held up well.
