The volume is low but it does work. You get your moneys worth. I am getting no feedback snd the sound comes through great to the amp.

Picks up sound. That's it. Lots of additional noise that diminishes the experience.

Do not waste your money on this piece of junk. You are farther ahead to just play your guitar with out the pick up. Only use the pick up to hold down your garbage bag on a windy day.

Once you put this thing in, it works like a dream and better than you think. You can try to plug it in to a Bluetooth speaker and will get some sound. It works great with my amp and was easily installed. It works amazing for the $15 Price tag.

Much easier to install, love the fact I can adjust tone and volume and take the chord off when I am not plugging into amp. So much easier to use, no feedback and no other issues. Much better than the old cheaper one but no longer available. This was so worth the price and quality. Cord length and fit perfect.

Good to supplement an acoustic performance but perhaps not fully supplant it!

Im not looking to revolutionize music and I currently don't have a need to drop 100 - 300 bucks on a higher end option. That said, this does sound much better than you'd imagine for the price you pay.Just slide it into place, plug in and play. Simple as that. Fitting it into the soundhole the first time took a little maneuvering and adjusting for the clips that keep it in place but it isn't mind boggling. Maybe 5 minutes max. The clips that hold it in place have padding on them which gives it a tight fit and since the entire thing is (I assume) aluminum and has a bit of weight, the pads keep it from scratching the guitar.I play through an I2M using Guitar Rig and the sound quality and levels are the same as all of my electrics. I placed this pickup on 3 different acoustics, and each one sounded identical to how they sound to the ear. Picking (fingers and pick), tapping, strumming, harmonics, fingers sliding on the strings, even my cat being nosey, this pickup sounds it all very clearly. The tone is nice and even when turned to 0 it still sounds beautiful. I read on other similarly priced pickups, people complaining about the volume not being very loud but i didnt experience that with this.I appreciate the controls and input being on a sway arm where you can adjust it out of your way and tighten it down and forget its there. It sounds great. IMO it looks great. You can remove it and take it from guitar to guitar if the occasion calls for it.TLDR - If you want Rare Earth, or even a NEO-D quality, you should buy that or something similar, I certainly would if i felt the need. If you're curious about a cheaper approach, this very surprisingly performs FAR above and beyond what you'd expect for the price. Would reccomend. Would buy again.
