This 1200 denier midweight turnout is just what you need in most winter climates. It features waterproof and breathable 1200 denier outer shell, 210 Nylon lining, and 200 grams of Polyfil for warmth. It has wither fleece, shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, low cross surcingles, double buckle front with quick clips, full coverage tail flap, and adjustable leg straps that help keep the blanket down and in place.

Super durable. I love the adjustable clasps in the front. It does seem to run a little small. My QH wears a 75 in Tough One but a 78 in this brand. The leg bands are not stretchy so I replaced them. I love the fit and durability so much that I've purchase the same blanket in different fills. We had a couple weeks of rain/icy weather in Wisconsin. I usually have to change out their blankets to keep them dry. I kept pulling the blanket off thinking that I would need to change it, but my boys were staying both dry and warm. My ferrier was even impressed with how dry they stayed.

I have gone though many brand of horse blanket of various prices. This Ruff Rider is by far the best. The fit is perfect and it is really waterproof. I have Arthritis in my hands and it has snap hooks for the front closure which are a lot easies for me to hook.I looked at several other sellers and Amazon had the best price. When I need another horse blanket, I will buy another Ruff Rider.
