Bought these for family gatherings and they are great. They are sturdy enough to have a full plate of food without collapsing like paper or styrofoam plates. I ran the plates through the dishwasher and they did not warp or lose any of the trim colour. The plastic cutlery that came with it is really only one time use as it does lose its colour/paint if it is scrubbed really well.

We use the plates for casual entertaining in our home. They look nicer than traditional paper and are extremely sturdy. The plastic knives, forks, and spoons give a much better look than the normal white plastic. Highly recommend!

I purchased the set for a dinner party. It obviously wasn’t a fancy party, but it was dressy casual and the plates did not disappoint. And best of all, after the party I could throw them away and not have to worry about washing dishes and silverware. The only issue I had was the silverware wasn’t as sturdy as the plates. But still worth the purchase.

There is a touch of elegance with the gold and white pattern. Sturdy and practical. A nice step-up from wobbly paper plates. The gold cutlery is a nice bonus!

I bought these to use for Thanksgiving, so we could throw them away when we were done. They are much better quality than paper plates or the cheap plastic plates you but from the store. The silver on the plates and utensils adds a bit of elegance to the fact that you're using disposable products. It makes you feel classy! The reason for knocking off one star is due to two issues. 1) They are a little thin. This isn't a huge problem, for most meals, but come Thanksgiving when you're piling on enough serving to feed a small army, even though the plate is just for you, the flimsiness is a little more apparent. No one in our party of 17 complained about them...in fact, just the opposite, they all loved them, but I did tell everyone to double up on the plates so they were really sturdy. That worked out perfectly, but a little disappointing...then again, I could have just put an average-sized helping on my plate and it would have been fine. 2) I bought packages and both came with a few cracked plates. The plates that were cracked were only the outer ones (top and bottom plates). Things like turkey juice or gravy would have seeped through these cracks, so I tossed the plates. I attribute the cracks to the fact that things have banged against the them in the warehouse or during shipping. If they were slightly thicker I'm sure they wouldn't have cracked, but all-in-all, a couple of cracks wasn't a deal-breaker. I WILL be buying these same plates again next year, and every year after (for every occasion I need them) as they were great. I'm very happy.
