Replaced the single speed Heng's RV fan over our bed with a multi speed reversible Heng's fan. Used the single speed for the bathroom exhaust. Worked great for drawing out the humidity from the shower but too strong to use when flushing the toilet. It had a tendency of drawing fowl air out of the black tank during flushing. Solution, slow the fan down. This DC Motor Speed Controller did the trick. Easy enough to wire into place, a couple of stainless steel screws to hold the panel in a corner and a small hole in another corner for the adjustable Potentiometer to protrude through. This is now the perfect RV bathroom exhaust fan. With the turn of a small knob, slow enough to work for the normal toilet functions and strong enough to draw out the shower humidity. All at a mire fraction of the cost of replacing the entire fan with a multi speed unit.

Works really well, very little heat generation. The heat sync is larger than it needs to be in my opinion. BUt it's performing very well on a 20v battery mod I made.I don't push mine to use the full amps, I set the current overload to a lower setting. I really like it so far. I don't want to burn it out, and I don't need to push the circuits.Works on a 20v speed saw like a dream. >26,000 rpm reduced to Only gripe... no power off on board. Must disconnect battery for true shutoff. OR install your own DC power switch.

Well once I figured out black is positive (by blowing up a couple fuses and watching things spark). The installation was easy.Due to no shielding around anything I found out the overload protection works, but I don't think there is anyway to reset it with out pulling said fuse Frome above.My biggest issue is that there is no off... Just really low. But I think getting another 3 pin file with an off will solve that issue.Overall great product
