These are great for a bunch of different craft and repair projects.-They came in well packaged and in perfect shape.-The instructions are easy to follow and give you a few options to melt.-They mix up clear and easy with no leftover clumps.-If done right the end result is very smooth.-Once dry it is solid and strong.I have tried a few brands of these types of beads and so far these seem to be working the best.

I crochet, and I needed some kind of grip on my hooks to deal with carpel tunnel, and this has been fantastic! It's so easy to use and I've been able to create comfy handles on all my crochet hooks! It's easy to melt, it's super easy to form. So far durability has been great. I'm super excited about this product.

This thermoplastic worked as expected. It doesn't get as sticky as other brands do. It does get a little sticky when it gets hot enough. It worked very well, when it's very warm it works to fill a mold. You have to let it cool quite a bit before it can be sculpted. It works well just being put in hot water. But I've used a heat gun, torch, clothes iron (with parchment paper) with great success. If you put a cup of water on a cup warmer it can keep it warm enough to keep the plastic workable. It came with a lot of plastic, enough to make a decent size cosplay piece or many useful household items. Ive fixed broken plastic pieces with it, made custom parts and find uses for it every day. If you go to store it, I would shape it into long noodles and chop it up with scissors like the way it came so it melts faster. A flat sheet also works to melt faster. I've used pigment powder to color it successfully. It takes a fair bit of pigment to get a good solid color. You have to keep in mind even though it turns clear, it'll always become white when hard.

I received 1.12 lb of pellets.I played with the plastic for about two hours today, and was a little disappointed. It's moldable, but very soft. Items slump after being formed. It would be ideal if I was trying to make a handle, or press it into a mold--it is very soft, and I'm sure it would work well. It just doesn't work very well for forming into figurines, which is what I wanted to do. I will experiment with making wire frames to see if I can get this to work better.Heating was a very simple process. When I pulled the plastic out of the almost-boiling water, it was warm, but not hot. I don't think the plastic can get above a specific temperature (kind of like ice, no matter how cold the weather, is always 32 F). I think it would be very hard to burn yourself with this. Some of the plastic stuck to the sides of the stainless steel container, but it came off very easily after it hardened. I got about ten minutes of moldable time before the points of my plastic lump started getting hard and white. I melted the same piece of plastic six times, and it didn't seem to get as clear later, but it was still easy to mold.It cools quite hard.

If you've gotten this far, you probably know this product does so I won't go into the semantics of moldable melty plastic.I will share my favorite things about this specific moldable melty plastic. First of all, I like how easy it is to melt, simply boiling some water and putting it in a cup. I also found that it wasn't as sticky as I thought it would be on other surfaces. It warns not to touch anything else that is plastic, but I had no trouble detangling it from things that accidentally touched well and it's meltedI was also pleasantly surprised that it can be re-melted and reshaped, upwards of as many times as you'd need. I only tried re-melting it five times, but each time it came back perfectly into that multiple stage, and hardened just as it had the first time. I haven't tried painting it or sanding it, but I do intend to and I will update if I ever get around to that.It functions just as it supposed to, works really good, is a solid, nice plastic, easy to mold, and you can do almost anything with it. I found that it did not stick to silicone either, so you can use molds.i'm super excited about this, I'm glad I found an affordable option so that if I run out, I can still get more without having to break the bank!

Polymorph Moldable Plastic Beads are a must-have for DIYers or people who like to repair things. I picked up this bag to replace a broken airconditioning knob. Not only did I reinforce the existing knob, I created a new knob for my daughters that fit their hands. I’ve developed hooks for my daughter’s water bottles in their beds and made a latch to hold our Venetian blinds. You name it; this stuff works wonders. The best part is that it is seriously reusable and adjustable! Just dip it back in hot water, and you can mold it again and again. I built a mini-moon with my daughter, and after she lost interest in it, we created chopstick holders. Being able to reuse it or adjust it with some hot water really makes this stuff invaluable around the house. You have to be cool with the chewing gum look of everything you make.Price: $16.80Pros:- Super versatile: Perfect for repairs, custom creations, and hobby projects- Easy to use: Melt in hot water and mold as needed- Reusable: Great for multiple projects without wasting material- Generous amount in the pack: You get a good quantity for your money- Fun to play with: Feels like crafting magic every time!Cons:- Temperature required: You need hot water, which may require some supervision if kids are around- Takes a little practice: It might take a few tries to get the hang of molding it perfectly- It looks like chewing gum when done. There may be power users who can make this stuff look legit, but my creations look like lumpy blobs.Overall, I can't recommend these beads enough! They’re a great tool for all sorts of around-the-house fixes and projects. Just don’t go thinking it is going to look good.
