I got this for my gelding who is hard on blankets. It fits great, runs true to size .It is easy to fit, very lightweight despite the heavy fill. Straps are reflective which is nice since he's pastured on by a road. It is nice quality, with buckle snaps and easy to leg and belly straps. I love the tail cover and longer length.400g fill is plenty to keep him warm all winter, which is good as he struggles to maintain weight in the winter without a warm blanket. My gelding is older, so keeping him toasty is essential! It's fully waterproof and is holding up well. Color doesn't show dirt as much, which is very nice. Overall, a great blanket, well made and does what it should. There is also an included hood, which I'm saving for when it gets really cold .

I am impressed. It is a very, very nice blanket. Sturdy yet still lightweight and easy to heave up on to the horse. The red color is very snazzy and looks really good on a black and white horse. It fits our horse perfectly and he seemed comfortable wearing it. I am delighted with how well the design is tailored to his body shape. There is plenty of room for his big hips, and the length from front to back is perfect. The tail flap was large enough that it covered his rump completely, and still allowed room for him to lift his tail when needed. The fasteners in the front are the best design I have used so far. It has buckles for adjustment, plus quick connect clips for quickly putting it on in the cold, plus Velcro on the inside flap to hold it together while you are getting the clips set.Our horse indicated that it is very warm to wear. He wore it happily for 2 nights straight. However, on the third morning, the sun came out brightly and the thermostat was up at 12 F and he started rolling. I assume he was trying to get the blanket off. I went out promptly after he rolled to check on him and he let me know that he wanted me to remove the blanket. He got one of the belly straps unclipped by himself, but the blanket, it's stitching, straps, buckles, and everything was unscathed and still on him. He has very thick fur and so likes these colder temperatures and overheats quickly, a more normal horse likely would have wanted to keep it on.When I took the blanket off of him, his back was dry and toasty warm, as was the inside of the blanket where it was touching his body. At the same time, there was snow on the outside of the blanket and the areas of the blanket draped off the sides of his body were frozen and stiff, indicating it has very good insulation.
