I ordered these river rocks for my 4 and 5 year old kids to paint. They are really nice, smooth rocks with flat surfaces and are good sized. They will be perfect to paint and put around our plants inside and outside. These are a little more expensive than some of the river rocks for sale from other sellers, but they are definitely good quality and I would still recommend them.

Me and the kids had a blast decorating with rocks they were fun and easy to decorate on the paint went on the Rocks perfectly and easily! Definitely recommend for a fun day project and it a perfect decoration for your garden or anywhere you'd like to place them.

These River Rocks are perfect for painting. I ordered the 2"-3" ones so I would have a nice, flat surface on which to use my acrylic paint pens. These rocks are pretty smooth and my pens worked well on them without the rocks tearing up the ends of my pens. I always seal the paint after applying it, but even without a seal, the paint is adhering well to the rock's surface.

These rocks are the perfect size for painting. They have a nice flat surface that my acrylic pens work great on. I have plenty of room to paint pictures, words or designs on. These are great for my hobby of rock painting and leaving them in places for people to find.

Nice set of rocks for craft projects. I bought to paint and turn into playfood for my toddler's outdoor kitchen. They were perfect for this purpose. Almost all the rocks were perfectly smooth. The even surface took paint really well. We had a couple rocks that were imperfect and jagged...not a big deal, but annoying when you only get 17 rocks.The 2-3" size is really ideal for a variety of craft projects. A great size for little hands to hold and can even mimic the size of real food objects for my project. The size allowed me to get detailed in my painting. This size is also big enough that even little kids can paint them easily.Overall nice set, perhaps a bit pricey, but nice quality.
