The steel cable is of excellent quality, smooth nylon coating protecting the stainless steel core. Perfect for a dry line or adding reinforcements to a pergola cover or such. The included aluminum thimbles and ferrules are also very well made, though I expect these to oxidize and lose the bright metallic sheen pretty quickly. The ferules are pliable with the right crimper, real easy to set up strong cable lines with this set.

I am using this as climbing trellis in my grape arbor setup, super strong and rust and weatherproof, the vinyl coating is a lot friendlier than baling wire and lasts a lot longer than rope. This is super lightweight and easy to work with, it comes with more crimp ferrules and loop ends than you will ever use right away. It comes on a nice little spool that fits perfectly on a wire spool bar, you don't have to worry about detangling and the excess stays in place with a rubber band. This was perfect for what I needed, well packaged and convenient to use.
