This will take about 90 minutes depending on your tools you have access. If can be done in a drive way. A lift is not needed but would make the install faster.

Welder and fabricator for 30 years. Ive built high performance trucks for over 25 years…street and off road performance trucks. It was cheaper for me to buy this pre fabed kit than to take time and make. Dont listen to the negative comments on the products metal thickness or product being too small. It’s perfect for what it’s made for…c notching a frame. Here is the product installed on a 79 F100 where I did a spring under conversion. Since I didn’t have to make the c notch and, it took me about 1 1/2 hours to cut the frame and install. Easily done if you have the right tools. Can’t say enough good about this product. If you’re hesitant due to the comments over metal thickness, don’t be…they’re plenty thick enough. Purchase and be happy.

Shipper issue, not the sellers fault was the shipping company’s error, seller responded quickly and that was appreciated, parts were revived quickly and that issue was resolved.C notch is smaller than others on the market in physical size with much smaller reinforcement tabs for bolting creating a true bolt on part.I’m going to install them out of necessity to get my truck back on the road, will weld them and bolt them. Again much smaller than depicted in the pictures and to other that are “comparable” for this truck F100
