If you keep blowing heater cores under hard acceleration, you need this! That and maybe an aluminum heater core. This will limit the amount of flow to your heater core under higher revs. It will NOT keep you heat from working, it just limits the flow enough that you don't have an antifreeze filled copper grenade when you drive your 'stang hard.From what I understand, these were supposed to be installed at the factory, and get lost the first time the heater hoses get replaced most of the time. They also used these in cop cars as well.
