What you see is what you get with this hitch step. It looks exactly like the pictures, and I'm pleased with it's sturdiness and stability. It's made of relatively thick gauge steel, so it's more than capable of holding my weight (and I'm not a small guy)... so I expect that it will be able to handle just about whatever you throw at it. The black finish is nice, and should protect it from rust for a long time. I particularly like the American flag logo on it, which is a metal plate riveted to the step (not a sticker). It fits my 2" receiver well, and even includes a hitch pin to keep it in place. It's proven very handy in helping me reach things in my truck bed (my truck is lifted), so it's a winner for me. I'd buy it again.Recommended.

I got this to replace a fold down step and I wasn't sure I was going to like how far this stuck out, but actually I prefer this one to the folding version. If I didn't have a rear mounted tire on my Jeep this might not be the case, but the tire standout prevents me from banging my shins on this thing so it's all good.It is a substantial step and because of its size it doubles as a little chair. There is adjustability with how far out it sticks with additional holes. It also comes with a really nice hitch pin. Metal construction is good quality and it fits nicely in my hitch. Really like this step!
