Starting with the good, it looks great, is pretty sturdy, and didn't take too long to assemble, perhaps 5 minutes, maybe less. It also has some nice features, like an extendable pole, a tray, and a phone holder. Overall, I'd say this is a solid stand with a bit of higher-level quality. To the bad, the instructions aren't great, as there are some typos and one picture shows a different part connected to the base than another. It's not hard to put together so that's not a really big deal though. The contraption to connect the tray is a bit unique and seems more difficult than it has to be, but it is solid. Be aware that, for some reason, the two screws that tighten and loosen it go in different directions; one loosens to the right, the other to the left. Why? No idea. The phone holder is a bit cheap, making a lot of noise when opening it and not being very easy to maneuver, but it does the job. The actual size of the top part of the stand is a bit disappointing too. It's slightly smaller than other stands I've had, but it does include a couple of arms to hold things on, so that's good. The thing that REALLY angered me about this though was, for some reason, they stapled one of the plastic bags shut and I impaled my finger under my nail on one of the staples, causing me to bleed. You might say that's a user error, and I'd be inclined to agree, but as a product reviewer, I've opened hundreds of packages and they basically never have staples, so I have no idea why they were necessary. It was quite painful, so please, don't close your plastic bags with staples. The other infuriating thing is that they had other bags that WEREN'T closed with staples, so clearly they know this technology exists. Finally, the price. Is it a decent stand? Yes. Is it worth over $80? No. I'd say this stand is worth between $40 and $55. It looks nicer than a regular stand, but doesn't have enough features to make it that big of an improvement over a standard music stand. You could buy a regular music stand and a $10-$15 dollar tray attachment and save yourself around $50.It earns some stars for being a solidly made product, but loses them for instruction errors, making me bleed, and being overpriced.

I got this as a music stand. I play my instrument sitting down, usually on a fairly short chair or stool. And I like to have the music low, so I can see over it. So most music stands are far too tall for me. This one works perfectly if I use only the adjustable section. It puts the music at the right height, and I have enough adjustability to be able to make it work for any height chair or stool. And when I'm practicing I can set my phone on the tray to use as a metronome or to play the piece when I'm playing along with additional music. The wire fingers hold the music securely if I need to, and I can adjust the angle as necessary as well. The base is also a lot heavier than a normal music stand, so it's much less likely to tip over if someone bumps it, something that always annoyed me about standard stands. And on top of all that, it looks really nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this stand’s build quality, and its variety of configurations and uses. It’s very simple to assemble and no tools were necessary. The angle of the main tray is adjustable from flat to nearly 90-degrees, as is the telescopic pole that can be raised higher/lower as needed. Laid flat, the main tray can easily be used bedside or couch side for beverages, a small plate, etc. And the tray can be kept detached from the pole stand altogether and used desktop or in bed, on the couch, etc. to hold electronics like tablets, or in my case, my Galaxy Zfold, books, and so on. It has a separate attachment for mobile phones, but only those of standard size like Samsung S21, iPhones, etc. I’m primarily using this in bed, so I keep it on the side of my nightstand for easy access. I don’t love the walnut color, it’s rather traditional for my design style, but it’s so useful I look past that, and it’s not out on ‘display’ anyway. Overall, I’m quite happy with this stand and think the quality level and multi-function justify its price point.

i put this together a few weeks ago & the directions (pictures) were not so clear for me. there are 3 poles & there is 1 of the poles that i simply couldn't figure out WHERE to put it! so, in the end, i left it off. it's the right height w/out it. i didn't understand how the 3 poles went together. it would be SO insanely tall too w/it. i tried numerous configurations, figured i'd look it up or figure it out later, but i've gotten so many items w/poor directions that it gets tiring having to put them together, deal w/the instructions or lack thereof & THEN go look it up as well on top of it all. who has that kind of time? it's not so bad, i'm happy w/it as is. oh, the attachable little extra tray is kind of odd to me too. but i installed it. i haven't tried to fold anything up? it functions well, seems pretty sturdy. u can read your sheet music from it (the reason i needed/wanted it), it semi-protects your music as well, holds it into place. i'm pleased w/it :)

Ordered this to ease up some of the congestion at the kitchen table with everyone trying to do homework/homeschooling/studying/projects all at once. Great solution - and the portability means it can be moved around easily whenever needed.

Ce lutrin est exactement ce que je cherchais. Très efficace pour lire sans porter le livre, pour poser un ordinateur près d'un fauteuil ou d'un lit, la pince pour le téléphone portable... excellent produit !
