I just used this on a flight.It would not stay inflated.After about 20 minutes all the air was out. I would blow it up again, I double checked the cap was in place and tight. It still would be deflated after about 20 minutes.

Appears well made for the price, generously sized and pretty non-slip. Need to blow it up a bit the first time, after that it pretty much self inflates unless you need it very firm. As I get older I noticed many I padded chairs become very uncomfortable after a bit of sitting, hope this improves my comfort when waiting on the hard chairs.

Very nice and convenient cushion. Inflated super easily and was simple to deflate and store. Perfect for concerts or camping. I like that it comes with a carry pouch.

Definite upgrade from your plastic inflatable cushions! Inner foam, then when inflated gets to about 2 inches.Simply unroll from its carry pouch and manually inflate for its first use.Didn't take much effort to get to optimum size.It will self inflate but not the first time it is used.Second use it did inflate but I was still able to add a little height via the valve. I think with continued use that will improve.If I am just using locally, I do not think I will go through and roll back up. When packing for travel, this is a great feature so that you can get it back in its travel pouch.Granted it not the high heat of summer yet, but it did not become uncomfortable sitting on the cushion. Some of those plastic ones cause lots of sweating. Time will tell, but based on the surface material, it should still be comfortable in warmer weather.Appears to be quite durable as well. Valve is well constructed. There are included repair patches as well as instructions for use included in the package

It's hard to find a support pad that's actually a support pad. The quality is exceptional and the actual function is exactly as is advertised. I got one specifically for my husband after he developed pain in his lower back after a very long drive. Our ortho doc suggested that after such a long drive, the pain might be due to disc compression that's exacerbated by hard seats. This pad is wonderful! It self-inflates (after 1st use) and, with a little effort, rolls right back up into a fist sized package that can be packed in it's own little pouch. In addition to using it in the car, this would be wonderful to use in a favorite chair for television, in the stands at a football game, at a theater or anywhere at all that you expect to benefit from a little extra cushion. The size is so nice. You can carry it into anywhere without having to be concerned about lugging something around. It's half the size of a portable umbrella!

The XplrKamp inflatable cushion is overall pretty good. It is super lightweight and so is easy to carry along. When fully deflated, it is 6.5" tall (a little taller than a normal soda can) and 4.5" in diameter. It is very easy to stash in a backpack or large pocket. It even comes with a handy carrying bag. Inflation is as simple as popping open the valve and it takes about 5 seconds to passively fill with air. The valve is tight and actually a little stiff to open/close; but it seems to work well. It is a bit thin so it is not the fullest of cushions and over-inflating actually makes it bouncy as you roll more on the cushion. With just a little less air, you get a decent buffer that provides nice thermal insulation (for cold bleachers) and overall tush reprieve. Seems to work best on flattish surfaces and less well on rocky ground. The general size fits a typical chair and a typical butt. There are cheaper pads out there but for the compactness and low weight of this pad, it's pretty good.

I think this is a great seat cushion. I buy these for flights. Quite often the foam is worn out or if you fly a cheap airline there’s hardly any foam at all on those seats so I get these cushions to make the flight more tolerable. This particular cushion is quite thick with a lot of memory foam inside. More than any other cushion I’ve used. It is definitely very durable, soft and comfortable. It’s very lightweight and not too warm. I’m not crazy about the valve system because it’s two different caps that pop off the first cap pops off and you could blow air into it or let it feel naturally because of the cushion material inside and then the second cap right underneath it that pops off Let you let the air out. Another cushion I have used has a screw valve so that you could let just a little bit of air out if you put too much in initially. This one’s very difficult to do that with. I would recommend this cushion for many different things both indoors and outdoors to keep Your seating position more comforting
