Just needs metal tape or piece of thermal wool underneath to help the seal.

Worked surprisingly well to fix my old rusty toyota exhaust. Make sure you purchase correct size. Time will tell how durable it is, but so far 5 stars for the ease of installation.

I got the OD to OD, or flush clamp style. Works perfectly. These clamps are also available as ID to OD. The clamp bolts are strong as is the clamping surface. Should last the life of your exhaust system

I needed my exhaust to be removable with little fanfare. These fit the bill. No leaks but I also did a thin layer of copper silicone as you should when using these.
