These brackets worked well to hold down my venetian blinds, but I had to find screws that fit them so I can install...how much trouble is it to include a couple of screws with the brackets?

I was having issues with an outdoor solar shade coming loose , or breaking ,the plastic versions on my screened in deck. I had to drill a larger hole for the metal pin in the end of the hembar, but once it was all assembled..these are ROCK SOLID!

The plastic blind brackets that come with the blinds maybe last two weeks in my house. My cats like to rub their face on the corner of the blinds and sometimes have a desire to look outside and paw at the bottom of the blinds. Needless to say the plastic was no match for the kitties. My husband and I have dealt with our blinds not be “attached” to the door/window for well over two years and I was over it. Found these little puppies online and they worked like a charm and guess what.... they are currently holding strong against the cats trying to “break” them.

What needs to be added to the Amazon listing is critical dimensions of the parts: diameter of the pin bolt (peg), length of the pin bolt peg and the bracket base to peg hole centerline dimension and the bracket's mounting hole to hole center line for the mounting screws (not included by the way). Unfortunately, I had to order this package to determine they aren't a simple replacement for the existing plastic retention clips. The size of the hole in our wooden blind base would have to be increased as well as the depth of the hole and the mounting holes for the base do not line up with the existing plastic bracket being replaced. And of course, no screws included. Come on guys, 4 screws at the volume you purchase them cost less than 2 cents total!! The supplier could save a lot of hassle by including this information in the listing. I am including here for future buyers.Pin diameter: 3/16 inch.Length of pin after it is put in the mounting bracket: 5/8 inch.Bracket mounting hole centerline to centerline: 1.25 inch.Bracket base to mounting pin (peg): 1.1875 (1 and 3/16 inch)

These were fine with holding the blinds down but like other customers I think it’s ridiculous that they could not put screws in for the price you pay for these. other than that they’re nice
