They are simply adequate. The medal pair I had, had a deeper piece that fit between the stove and the countertop. This pair has a tendency to fall out if bumped.

These stove gap covers are great! They do not slip or slide. They withstand a lot of heat - I put a pan out of the oven on top of them. Truly recommend!
