The design is ultra-simple but it gets the job done better than anything I was going to DIY myself.I used the larger size along with the finer mesh to keep a few Goldfish eggs safe from the hungry adults and this successfully floated in the tank while making sure I didn't need to setup a whole separate tank just for the fish fry. I will say the acrylic plastic used is quite flimsy to the touch but I suppose it doesn't really matter just floating around in a tank. The foam ring stayed securely with just friction and didn't slip off at anytime so overall, I'd say this product definitely gets the job done!

Super simple but super great way to separate your fish while also having them in the same filtered water as the other fish
