My stove and counter is not leveled, so I knew it wouldn't lay flat. But I needed something to keep "stuff" falling in between....so I bent/rolled the strip and stuck it in between the space, and it worked perfectly. I barely notice it. I think it looks better than laying it across the gap. And a little side note... the "clear" is not clear

I had a BIG gap between my washer and dryer. I ordered this to fill in the gap but one just wasn't enough. Fortunately, these came two to a pack. I used silicon to bind the two together and let them dry. Next morning I had a gap cover that was the perfect width. Great solution to my problem.
