Purchased for my young grandsons xylophone to replace the cheap plastic mallets that have broken. These are very well built and give a very nice ring to the notes.

seld distancing = continual play additions for indoor/rainy days....like coffee cans taped together...played with these mini mallets!!! Fine for adults but small for kids 2 to 72 !!!! Didnt want to sacrifice my good drumsticks on coffee can steel drums....so these are perfect!!! Reminder: toddlers may try to gnaw on these....or shove them under pillows etc....so supervise and play along!!!!!

There was no weight to the ends where the instrument meets the xylophone..not good esp for children who are eager to produce sound, as well as impeded the eye hand coordination aspect/ enjoyment for the young child to satisfactorily gain accomplishment from his/ her efforts

Awesome mallets, does great for sound on the xylophone. We always seem to lose our mallets because of our toddler, so these definitely help when one is hidden under the couch, another is halfway across the room, and another one is in the fireplace. Basically: these extras help.
