The magnets on these cup holders are strong! I use mine in my skidsteer so the ride is bumpy to say the least. The cup holder stays in place and holds my drink so I don't have to. Very functional, holds cans or bottles in place. The metal material is spill resistant and can be cleaned up easily.

These holders seem to be ok but they are small and shallow. Had I realized they were that small I would have gone a different route. Works ok for can drinks.

My children always misplace their cups. It is convenient to put these holders in the fridge so they can always locate their cups. They are strong magnets and hold the cups without falling off. Could be useful on cruise ships too, to store your drinks in your room.
