Dmm-11ar fuse parameters

Dmm-11ar fuse parameters

The DMM-11AR fuse is a commonly used fuse, characterized by a copper core and a shell made of fiberglass reinforced polyester material. It has good heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and can resist high temperature, humidity, and acid-base corrosion. The rated voltage of the DMM-11AR fuse is 250V, the rated current is 11A, the rated temperature is 105 ℃, and the rated breaking current is 50A. It has good thermal and electrical stability and can resist high temperature, humidity, and acid-base corrosion. The DMM-11AR fuse has a compact structure, small size, convenient operation, and can meet different application requirements, making it an ideal safety component for electronic devices.

This is a 2 pack and is the fuse that will blow if I forget to changeover from current to volts after measuring current with my Fluke 117. A pretty mindless move on my part.It looks identical to the one I ordered under a Fluke part # at a higher price which can go for nearly $12 at the single item price and nearly $37 for a 5 pack. At $6.80 per unit for a 2 pack this is pretty good, but is available from other sellers for as little as $4.99 per unit. I didn't do any "getting into the weeds" testing to see if this is equal, but for my DIYer use, these are just fine. (the one on the right in the photo is the product being reviewed)Not the difference in fuse labeling on the photo. Some research into the difference of this labeling returns the following results:"The main difference between the Bussmann DMM-B-11A and DMM-11AR fuses is the "B" designation:++The DMM-B-11A is a version of the fuse that Bussmann specifically sells to Fluke for their multimeters. It has no markings on the cap.++The DMM-11AR is the same fuse sold by Bussmann to the general market. It has "BUSS DMM 11A" imprinted on the cap. However, according to Bussmann, the fuses are exactly the same in terms of specifications and performance. The only difference is the "B" designation and the lack of cap markings on the DMM-B-11A version."

I found these about 2 weeks too late, since I blew the fuse in my DMM because I was dumb and forgot to switch the connection after measuring current and I checked the battery voltage on my car battery. Ugh.I have since replaced the fuse, but when I saw this set of 2 available I ordered with the intent to have a spare for next time (because I will inevitably do it again!)...I ended up pulling the new replacement I had installed a couple weeks ago for one of these and it worked fine.Pricing for these is good for a 2-pack, and no issues at all with these - 5 stars!

Well, what can I say...they conduct electricity, fit in the appropriate slot, and seem to work. I haven't tested the overcurrent protection (and I hope I never do) but hopefully it works if and when I need it!

Fuse on my multimeter was bad when I bought it, this fit and works perfectly now

If you can afford a Fluke meter, and you have blown the fuses already, you should seriously consider the expensive, OEM fuses. If you can't afford the originals, or you don't work with high voltages, this might be a good choice. They seem fine, but I have trust issues, and I don't have the equipment to test a set, to make sure they meet all the specs. They say BUSS on them, but they don't claim to be BUSS brand, strange.

The Fluke 15 and Fluke 17 are the same, when it comes to the fuse. My Fluke 23 has the same physical sized fuse, but it is only 600v (and this one is 1000V). This fits perfectly in both meters, and is the right rating for at least the Fluke 15/17, and I'm sure a lot more meters too.

Fits Fluke 87V like OEM. Hopefully I won't have to test its fuse abilities.
