This is very low priced and I don't want to discourage anyone from giving these a try. Unfortunately, FOR ME, they achieve no meaningful reduction in my hand tremors, but are awkward to put on due to the individual finger loops, and awkward when engaging in tasks requiring hand, as well as finger, dexterity. Now I again want to emphasize that this is my experience with nagging hand tremors when holding moderately heavy objects (from dish plates to 45 lb weight plates). So mere weighted gloves has little effect on my particular tremors. So of course added weight on the back of the palm has no effect, but is an inconvenience and, wom regularly, may lead to "overuse" injuries at the elbow and shoulder level.For those whose tremors are diminished with the addition of distal weights, there is the problem of determining the optimal weight and applying it. Some gloves are manufactured with pockets to allow one to have control of the distribution and amount of weight. The gloves reviewed here are of fixed distribution and amount of weight. Their low price may justify them as an experiment, to be followed by future gloves that allow fine tuning.So these are only a two star product for my needs, but for another reviewer they offered 5 star diminishment of symptoms and increase in function, I believe the are well worth their cost as an experiment, but will have little later application if they don't deliver the hoped for results.

I got these gloves for my father-in-law, who has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's. He does have good grip still but struggles with tremors. He has super meaty fingers and wrists. The loops for the fingers are elastic enough that we had no problem getting them on him, nor did they cut off circulation. The wrist wraps are large enough for a bigger wrist as well. The velcro is strong and attaches well. The whole thing seems very well constructed. They don't weigh very much but offer enough weight to slow his trembles enough to drink, eat, and write more steadily. Hopefully, these can help keep his grip intact as well.
