I upgraded all my bulbs and flashers to LEDs in my 1987 Chevy R30 (C30) squarebody. The lights worked fine. The flashers didn’t work very well. They would flash every 2-3 seconds. I replaced the oem flasher with this one and it works great. On gm trucks of this vintage, look for a small round metal can on the lower right corner of the fuse block. It pulls straight out. The fuse block is up under the dash on the driver side. The hardest part of the job was connecting the ground wire. First, the ground wire was too short to reach the chassis ground. Then working under the dash to connect to the chassis ground was difficult with the seat in (but that’s not an issue with the LED flasher). I like the speed of the flasher. It’s consistent and looks great. Now, we wait to see how long it lasts

If you own an old jeep and upgrade to LEDs..must have for flashers and blinkers to work properly. Order two 2...join the grounds and replace your flasher and 4 way fuses.

Be sure to find a good ground. I ran a new ground wire and added a ground bus to the interior. Next I had to reverse the polarity for my '84 CJ. My rear LED tail lights work great. I will replace all exterior bulbs with LED.

Added two of these to my 82 Camaro and they did what they are to do. I can now run LED bulbs with no hyper flash. Sound is a little different, but that doesn't matter to me. One suggestion is to make sure to use a good ground. At first I didn't think it worked as it was grounded to a ground, but it was not strong enough. Grounded to straight metal on frame and works good.
