These clamps are exactly what I needed for my piping. Connecting and disconnecting pipes is significantly faster and easier than with traditional bolted flanges. This is a huge plus for projects requiring frequent access or changes. The stainless steel construction of the clamps themselves is solid, and they hold up well to high temperatures. It seems to provide a tight, leak free seal. I haven't experienced any exhaust leaks after installation.Overall good clamps and would recommend.

I thought that these would be the better interlocking male/female type v band flanges, but they are not. This means you're relying on the v band clamp itself to do all the work, meaning it's more likely to leak under warping and movement stress (vibrations).If I had known better, I would have skipped getting this, as they are charging as much as the interlocking kind. In addtion, the v band clamp itself is NOT the quick release kind, you have to completely remove the little nut in order to open the clamp enough to remove the flanges. The nut will promptly jump from your hand and into your engine bay/onto the ground, and run for freedom. This flange might be ok for further back on a regular exhaust system, like near a muffler or exhaust turn down. Without the male/female mating flange, it's not good for high stress areas as different parts of the exhaust heat up and expand, while the engine is wiggling around on it's engine mounts.I will not use it in my engine bay, if at all.
