The role of the fuse:
When the circuit fails or is abnormal, the rising current may damage some important components in the circuit, burn the circuit or even cause a fire. If the fuse is correctly placed in the circuit, the fuse will fuse itself to cut off the current when the circuit abnormally rises to a certain height or the temperature reaches the melting point of the fuse, thereby protecting the safe operation of the circuit.

This is a review for 10A 250V 6x30MM Fast Blow Glass Fuse 10 Amp 250 Volt 0.24 x 1.18 Inch Fast-Acting Tube Fuses F10AL250V (Pack of 20Pcs)I got this to replace a fuse I blew in my car cigarette lighter splitter. The one that was in there before, blew the first time I used my inverter.This fuse was an easy replacement, just pull off the old one and put this one in. It fit well, and is the same size as the one I removed. The fuse seems well made, and you can clearly see inside to look if the fuse is blown or not. I plugged in my inverter, and the fuse didn't blow, which I figured would happen, as the other fuse was 8 amps for some reason. I really don't have anything that draws more than that, which I could test with, so I can't really say if this will do its actual job of protecting your equipment during a fault, but if and when it blows, I will update this review.

I have an Icom IC-471A, which is a 25 watt UHF ham radio, that requires a 15 amp fuse. In addition to my radio using this fuse, it's not an uncommon size, so I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a few extras on hand. The fuses are packaged exactly as shown in the listing. I counted them, and none are missing. The plastic box is nice, but I would have preferred the little 5-pack boxes I used to get fuses in years ago.

Great to have, replaced the one a blew out and have some to spare. I trust they are a 5A, did not sacrifice one to test.
