I teach elementary special education so I'm always looking for tools to help my students with reading. These highlighter finger trackers are everywhere but are usually really overpriced. It comes with six different colors: yellow, orange, red, blue, green, and a purply-pink. The plastic is easy to see through and the colors are bright. The highlighter sections slide into the rings but can be removed for easy storage or cleaning. The rings are small but they are flexible and they're not closed all the way so it fits fingers of different sizes. It even works on my adult fingers. The finger highlighters are about 2 inches across by 0.5 tall (5 cm by 1.5 cm). The flat colored reading guides are about 1.25" tall by 7.5" wide (3.25 cm tall by 19 cm wide) with the colored section being about 1/3" tall by 7" wide (0.8 cm tall by 19 cm wide). They seem durable. The colored section would probably be too small for large-print books but is a good size for most early reader text.

These are a useful tool for early readers and also adhd brains. My kids really like using the rings with the color attachment, it helps them focus on each individual word. I found the strips to be a little dark. They work best on a book with bright white pages instead of natural/beige. They are handy to use as a bookmark and handy for times when you struggle with focusing.

My son has a lot of difficulty staying focused when reading more than a few sentences. I like the "ruler" style reading strip and find that is helpful for him to use on large format books or on the computer screen. But what has really helped him and I hadn't seen before is the finger pointer-style reading tool. This slips easily over the end of the child's pointing finger and narrows the window to only a few words- which really helps in eye tracking. It helped him so much that he doesn't fuss about using it. It was also to see what color helped him the most to create more distinction between the words and page. The plastic lens is good quality, and even the little finger "rings" seem to be sturdy. All of the rings and sliders functioned perfectly, and the size easily will accommodate a variety of child ages. For reference my son is 8 and wears the rings in the top third of his finger.

Very useful for kids with add and adhd who often look away and have to find their place again. Helps kids focus on their reading. Great special ed tool. They all came in good condition.

These are going to help my nephew so much. We have used them before for my daughter when she 1st got diagnosed with dyslexia. They are flimsy but they are supposed to be that way to easily use.
