We have some old furniture that is in good shape, but the seats are sagging and uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. This insert added support to sagging seating. It added firm but not hard support, so we still have cushion and bounce. The foam can be trimmed to fit as needed. The foam is black and tapered which really helps to conceal it from being visible. We had to play with the positioning of the cushion and trimming the foam to get the right fit so that it was hidden from being visible as it does push up the cushion a bit. This is an inexpensive way to add comfort back to an old couch!

This dense foam cushion was perfect for what I needed. My every day couch cushion was getting kind of flat and I could occasionally feel the support springs from the couch frame through it. Not comfortable! This cushion fixed the problem easily! My spot on the couch is now fluffy and comfortable again!

Over the years, our love seat's springs must have shifted, allowing for me to sink into the seats, but by adding the Yiyirea cushion support insert, I can now sit much more comfortably and also not sink down! I got my first cushion insert to give it a try and am so impressed with the improvement, ordered a second insert to complete the two cushioned seat. These make a vast improvement in my sitting posture, plus now I don't feel embarrassed if a visitor takes this seat. I did not need to trim any of the 22 x 22 inch foam pads, they fit nice and snug as they came, and do not shift around under uses. They do lift the original cushions a bit, but with their dark color, the inserts are not noticeable. A perfect way to revitalize an old and sagging seat!

If you have an older sofa and your cushions are getting a little compressed and saggy, these foam pads are extremely helpful in extending the life of the cushions. A very good, low cost solution that can help put off more costly cushion replacement.

I was hoping this couch cushion support would be thicker and firmer than it is. It does help add just a tad bit more support for the sagging end of my couch, but it isn't quite enough. Before placing it under the cushion, I tested the denseness of the foam: I can use my two hands, one on each side of the foam, and completely compress it and feel my hands -- that let me know it wasn't as thick and dense as I had hoped. For me this cushion ends up being more "cosmetic" to lift the sagging end of the couch, as opposed to being actually supportive when I then sit on the cushion. I think I'll need to also add a board under this cushion to get the true support I'm trying to accomplish with my very old leather couch.

The cushion is quite squishy and not as firm as I would like, but it does help lift up your seat a bit and so I do recommend this.

We recently purchased a new sofa and the cushions are too soft. I wanted to add support and firmness to the sofa and gave this a try. It works. This peice of foam added support and a little firmness to my seat. It is so easy to use, simply place under the cushion and you're good to go! It also has kept my cushion from sliding, which is a very welcomed bonus. I was skeptical, but I really love it.
