First nice day and doesn't work, wheels spin slow nothing happens, bought as gift so missed return windows, costly mistake don't bother, extra birdies are about 4 bucks a piece, waste of money

BACKGROUND: I have three kids, (13) Softball, (11) Baseball, (9) Softball, all playing travel. I played college ball and coached college baseball as well as high school baseball for 20 years. Also not getting paid for this review. PROBLEM: We live in Illinois which means in the winter, it is really difficult to find places to hit unless we pay to get cage time at a facility. So I set out to find ways to hit in our basement without the need for putting up a net or worrying they would break things. SOLUTION: This badminton pitching machine IS PERFECT! Seriously, everything I have ever wanted. Turn this thing on and it pitches 20 pitches, 20 feet, every 6 seconds!Even better, it is easy to adjust for location and distance if needed. AND There is the automatic feeder so they can hit anytime on their own. So simple. All three of my kids take one to two rounds on their own each day. My favorite part about it is, as you know, 9, softball, 11, baseball, 13 softball are very different levels. But with this machine, all three can use it without any issue.Lastly, WHY Badminton Birdies? I have always used badminton birdies for hitting. I love them for working on hand-eye, general swing work and great for off-speed training. These birdies don't break. We use our normal metal, composite and wood bats with them. None broke. Best of all, they are limited travel once they are hit. You can't hit them crazy fast or for far distances. So they are easy to use in small spaces and safe for when kids are doing them together on their own. This can be used 7 years old through college level playing.CONCLUSION:If you are looking for the best indoor, live, automatic feed pitching machine for your kids, travel level, elite level, this is it. Hit all winter long! Hit anywhere in your house! And for $99, crazy not to get it.BONUS,1. This machine also is perfect for catcher framing. Working on bare hand or with the glove. Incredible.2. Make sure you Buy the extra 24 pack of birdies they offer. Allows you to have full batting practice with the automatic feeder. Also comes with a nice basket to use to pick up the birdies with after they hit a round.

It looks like it was used before being shipped to me. I found some dirt marks on the product, and the 4-frequency adjustment feature doesn't even work.

This machine is great for exerciser, the problem is you get more exercise picking up the shuttles and reloading the machine, it would be nice if it held more shuttles. The LED shuttles are nice but I have no desire to practice at night. I don't know how long the shuttles will last so it would be nice if this machine came with a lot more, at the price it is (a little expensive) they could include a lot more standard shuttles..I like the machine, it is fun to use especially when my grandsons around and running around collecting the shuttles.
