This works but it’s dim, very dim. Maybe only use for ambiance lighting

These are indeed very bright. They are on like a fairly rigid metal strip. Plenty of cord length to install anywhere on your rig. Plugged right into the ESC with no issue and lit right up.The only downside is protection for the LEDs. Originally I had plan to put them on the bottom of the crawler. However, the LED's stick out with no cover and they will catch of any rock or debris it goes over. While they do feel extremely durable, there is no way I would risk mounting them along the bottom edge of my trim. So instead I mounted them inside where they would be protected.If there was like a diffuser cover this would be 5 star LED strip to me, but exposed they would just be to grabby on every thing that rubs against them. I still love them, just wish I could have mounted them on the bottom.
