The flange on the pipe just beyond the cat convertor was rusted. The exhaust from there back to the dual mufflers needed to be replaced too. Other than the rusted flange the exhaust from the engine and the cat convertor was fine. I wanted someone to weld a repair. The shop only wanted to replace the entire exhaust system including a new cat convertor. $$$$Thousands to replace everything. I first bought this and snugged up what was there. I then located the complete exhaust including both mufflers from Northeastern Exhaust for $300 and change. Amazing how it fit. Quiet and tight. This little flange started the journey and ended up saving me more money than I imagined.

Used this on my 94 Ford f150 right behind the exhaust manifold sealed up the leak it gets the job done

The material quality is great but I was a bit disappointed to find the 2.5" hole actually measured 2.680" and did not fit snug on my 2.5" pipe. Had to grind down some of it to get it to clamp on tighter. This requires modification to work correctly.
