We're just a family of 3 at home. And this works perfectly for me and my small family. It's on top of our kitchen counter. Not too heavy, clean, neat and works fine to carry 20 lbs of rice. Got 2 to separate the sticky and steam rice.

Got tired of my tub I store rice in and got this instead. It's super cute and very compact so it fits just right into small corners or under cabinets. It's quite sturdy actually except when you fill it all with rice, the sides kinda puff out making putting the lid on a little struggle but it's definitely still doable.

The dispenser itself works perfectly so far. (been about a month of consistent use) I will say the measuring cup is more difficult to fill accurately if you’re going for less than about 2 cups of rice just because of the shape of the bottom and measurements being marked on the outside or the double paned cup. But worth it if just need an effective/more attractive way to store a lot of rice.

Had to replace a larger rice dispenser. Had a hard time find the right one. Not as large but this one seems to do the job. As described. Compact and easy to assemble. Dispenses with the touch of the button. Easy to see the level of contents. The lid does not snap on tight but does cover the compartment. From empty to full, this dispenser does hold a new 25lb bag of rice. The only thing I would have wanted in this was a measured dispenser instead of just the measuring catch, its a free-flow dispense when you push the button.

I was looking for a rice container/dispenser that would keep the rice fresh and allow me to dispense it easily. I especially like the lid of this rice container. Not only does the cover seal well, but I like that I can keep the rice fresher by putting something fresh, such as garlic, in the small hole on the side. I also like the capacity. Since the capacity is large, there is no need to separate the rice multiple times. The reason I deducted to remove one star is because the measuring cup is not accurate rather to my expectation. Other than that, it is a very convenient and excellent rice container.
