So, I can’t help myself but to comment on the packaging of this. Each of the wood slats that made the house, each tree, and several of the small figurines were in their own little plastic back. I honestly didn’t see the need for this much plastic.The buildings are basically just assembled by pressing the precut nozzles of one piece into the precut holes of another and pressing them together. No glue required. No other assembly required. The trees and little figurines are already as they are shown by the seller.With that said, this is a charming set that I put up on my family room table. I am not sure yet if I will place a small light string in each house, but I might.I was able to mix and match the precut wooden pieces with other ones that are the same size so they don’t all look so uniform. I also turned the natural wood side out in some buildings so it is not all white. One can create a village after their liking and move the pieces around. I really like this!

I have issues with this. I knew that it would be small but I was not expecting this small. The only way to light up this would be a small batter operated tea candle as most light bulbs would be too big. There is a white powdery dust on these which is unpleasant and drys out the fingers. There are easy to put together but for a really good fit the burrs on each piece need lightly sanded. The trees were not in good condition.
