These were cheap plastic and didn't hold position. The jam nut doesn't tighten against the plastic enough and the glued pads started to fail after a day. Spend the extra money and get better quality.

The felt is glued on poorly and had already fell better off before I got it. Returned immediately. Waste of money.

I should have known better...The old saying "you get what you pay for". felt side of beater fell off after 10 minutes of playing. I'm not a heavy hitter. The quality feels lite and cheap.spend a few more dollars and get the PDP pedal.Much better quality.

The other reviews I read on these are odd, to me. Jam nut tightened just fine, even with an oversized adjustable box-end wrench. I used these on my Pearl P-922 double-bass pedal, and they performed flawlessly. Lightweight, without having to kick harder. Focused attack, without being 'clicky'.If the jam nut is giving people issues, I suggest Loctite.
