I first ordered the “Right” latch. I was sent the “Left” so I started a return and requested the correct direction latch. I received the “Right” latch, but from the photos you can clearly see that the replacement is vastly inferior to the first latches I was sent. The replacements are cheaply made, have sharp edges, and have zero heft to them due to the fact that they’re thin and bendable like a crushable tin can. Furthermore, the swivel functionality is not smooth - add this to the sharp edges and it’s pretty much useless. Amazon clearly has no quality control in place.

The locks themselves are nice, but I can confirm the other reviewers thoughts...the screws are absolute trash. The heads have broken off all of them, leaving irreparable damage to the antique rosewood display case I am trying to put the lock on. I had even drilled holes for the screws, and the heads still broke off. Luckily I have other screws around...wish I had used them in the first place, as I cannot repair or even cover up the resulting damage where the screws are still stuck in the wood and cannot be removed.

This was exactly what we needed to finish a project, the fit and finish was a little rough on the receiver end but nothing a few seconds with a rotary tool and a sanding disk couldn't fix.
