I managed to get one of them tight but the other one feels like the threads are broken. The screw tightened but then as I was doing a final tightening, it went loose and felt like something inside broke. On the ride, that one tipped back and I lost the flag. I'd like to get that one replaced but I doubt if they'll do that.UPDATE: sure enough, instead of replacing the defective one, they want me to glue it. GLUE IT. That's still not going to tighten it. I can't return it because the flag came off of that mast, when it rotated back.

These are easy to install! You can put them on your luggage rack. It also comes with hardware to install them on the rear tag bracket. I used those, as I sometimes carry a bag on the rack. They look great with and without flags! I definitely recommend these!

l must have gotten a good set! l put these on, using some blue LocTite. Then rode 100 + miles, rode in a 4th of July parade, and back home again with absolutely no issues. The construction of the mounts and poles is great. Average speed to & from parade was 70 mph. The flags showed absolutely no wear of any kind, no shredding, or stitch breaking.
