Purchased these to replace another brand that was hit or miss. These are great. Primary use is freshening up some noisy old fans. No complaints and I will likely be purchasing some more to have on hand.

Most of the smaller FPV drones and brushless motors sold these days use metal shielded bearings. These let in dust and dirt and quickly sound like grinding rocks. My Babyhawk 2 was getting more noisy so I decided to give these a try as they use rubber shields which seal better in dirty conditions. Removing and replacing the old bearings was tricky as they are press fit into the windings. Care must be taken not to lose the snap rings or spacers or to damage the windings. I made a press to insure the new bearings went in straight and I pressed on the outside 5mm race to keep from damaging the new bearing. The one tricky part was that you need a 5mm od rod to fully seat the bearings or the spacer under the snap ring will need to be thinned.Final result was silky smooth bearings that were quieter than when it was new. Time will tell how long they will last, but the rubber seals should go a long ways to keep things clean, I am going to buy a couple more sets to have some on hand for my other mini drones. Be sure to check to see what bearing your motor takes, but all of the 1408 and 1404 motors I have checked use this bearing. 2X5X2.5mm thick.For the time it takes to replace them, you might as well use a good bearing.
