This is my first betta fish tank and so far I am loving it! I like the modern rimless look of this tank. The size is perfect for housing my first betta. The kit included a really nice mat for under the aquarium that helps to protect the wood stand under the aquarium and also helps it not slide around. The light is dimmable and has three modes. The filter is perfect for my betta since it's not a super strong current. It is adjustable from a lower to higher intake. I will note that depending on what you put in the tank and your bio-load, you may want to upgrade the filter to something stronger. I think it's perfect for my betta though since bettas prefer a really soft gentle current/flow. I also like the little tab on the bottom of the filter for leveling it against the tank. It's a simple detail that actually works very well. The kit includes carbon filters but I don't use carbon in my tanks. I am just using white filter floss that I have cut to fit. It was fast and easy to set up and I think that with the included accessories of a long handled tank cleaner and the water siphon, it's a good value.

My fish really loves it! He swims around the tank and has lots of space. Because he is a tropical fish, i needed a heater, only improvement to be made is maybe include a better siphon, plants, and substrate. For those who are curious, the fish's name if Fin. He is a betta fish

I love everything on this aquarium. I like the little cleaning tube brush. It comes with la built in filter, and at its name out of the glass.I do not like the lindsey plastic lid.It could have been made a little thicker and the light it comes with just not enough.

This is a nice rimless aquarium with an assortment of extras including a light and filter, but no heater. Though no lid is included, there are some very nice acrylic lid supports that will allow the user to place glass, acrylic, screen, or whatever their choice may be. The filter is of the HOB (Hang On Back) type, which can be one of the most effective and easy to maintain filters, though not one I'm currently using. The light is a spot and will provide limited illumination compared to the common strip lights. It plugs into a USB-A port. The "water changer," consisting of tubing, bulb, and bell, is not something included in most aquarium kits and may be a valued accessory for the beginner. Both bulb and tubing are corrugated making them very flexible but, in my opinion, harder to clean, just meaning it should be rinsed out promptly and hung to dry after each use. The bell is of a type frequently used to get fish waste and other detritus out of gravel and it works well. What I also really like that I haven't seen before is the extra long plastic handle with brushes on both ends as well as a scrub pad, all for getting algae off aquarium glass, rocks, and other hard ornaments that may adorn the tank.

The filter is not intuitive and the enclosed directions were for a different filter system. Even with the filter plug almost out of the pipe, it barely runs at full volume. There's a small piece on the bottom of the filter that turns to rest against the back of the tank in an effort to level the filter itself. It didn't come out far enough to make the filter box level. The lid sits very loosely on top...with enough room around the edges for a cat's paw, which is problematic in my house. The cleaning siphon tube that I received was not air tight, so it didn't create a total vacuum. The light is not powerful enough for live plants.I'm returning it for a similar sized tank with a better filter, light, and lid.

First off I'm not going to be using the filter for the setup as a terrarium but I did assemble it and made sure it works and it does, it's not super quiet but it's not loud at all I could stand being the same room with it for hours if used as a fish tank. The the glue they used for the tank sides are almost seamless making it great for viewing without taking away from the tank itself and does not leak at all! The build quality is great! It's size it just about perfect and fits anywhere you might need it to even with all the accessories that come with it. On that note the siphon that comes with it is of very very poor quality I wouldn't waste your time with it honestly that's about the only down side otherwise all other accessories are great!I would highly suggest this item!

This product is of extremely high quality and value. The product is a bundle of different items ideal for both a beginner aquarist trying to start their new tank to an experienced one just looking for another tank for their collection. Starting off with the tank in the pack it is sealed extremely well with very thin and even lines of acrylic which gives it a very clean look. They even included a black foam pad that you can place under your tank to help make it level and protect the bottom. The lid is made of acrylic and rests on top of the tank once you attach the plastic lid holders onto the sides of the tank. It is sized to where there is only around a one inch gap which is nice as that can minimize the risk of a fish jumping out of the tank. The gravel vacuum that came with it is also very nice as the tubes are adjustable and don't whip back and forth like the typical plastic vacuum tubes do. For the hang on back filter, the setup was initially confusing but thankfully the product also came with the instructions which were very clear and provided step by step instructions on assembly that made it easier. The light is the only thing I would find somewhat lacking from this otherwise amazing deal as that light wouldn't be strong enough to grow most aquarium plants in a tank of this size.
