This is a fine small novelty cup made from natural horn. I have seen such cups before in souvenir stores in Denmark and Norway, although all of those were larger. Coffee mug or beer stein sizes. This is accurately listed as being 3” tall and holding about 150 ml (5 oz) although I didn’t fully appreciate just how small that would be. This is more like a large shot glass size or espresso cup rather than something you’d use if you wanted more than a sip or two. More novelty than every day use.Since these are made from natural horn, I wouldn’t expect any two to be exactly alike and there’s to be expected there will be color differences. The one that I received is much darker, almost a solid black, versus the lighter colored one shown the the Amazon listing’s pictures. Also, the handle part on mine sits up a bit higher and it looks like there a bit less finger room in the handle. I need to grasp this by the edges of the handle as I can only get my pinky through that opening. Admittedly I have larger hands than most so that’s part of it. Bottom is smooth and it doesn’t leak.For a novelty piece I’m pleased with it. It sits on the bar and will be used as a fun way to serve larger shots.

This is basically a shot glass. I can barely get my fingers into the handle so might want to look for a slightly bigger one.

I ordered this Viking-style horn mug for myself to enjoy beer in a unique way. Unfortunately, it arrived with a broken handle. I contacted the seller, and they assured me they'd send a replacement. It's been almost a month, and I haven't received anything.The mug itself has a cool design and seems well-crafted, but the broken handle made it unusable. This little mug is made for mini-Vikings or for drinking stuff that will also serve as paint thinner. It actually serves well as a costume accessory too as you can have a mug on your belt without having to deal with having a mug taking up all the space on your belt and banging into everything when you walk around.I have no idea what it is actually made of but it certainly could be horn. It looks like it with natural coloring and patterns. It could also be taken for stone at a distance.

Very good looking plastic Viking drinking horn. Small, so definitely more for drinks you have smaller amounts of like mead. Normally I wouldn't talk about packaging, but this was packed so tightly that I truly struggled to get the cup out. I ended up having to use a box cutter, and though I tried to be meticulous and careful, I did end up still scratching the cup where it faces the handle. I mean, it was great because the cup got to me in good condition, but the packaging made it so essentially I couldn't give this as a gift now. I really recommend this product. Highly unusual, definitely something most people don't already have. But I do recommend to the manufacturer to figure out another way to pack this so your customers don't damage the product just trying to open it.

Right out of the box and package. This thing is phenomenal really well made and the clearcoat finish is really strong. We’ve even used it in the dishwasher multiple times. It’s really fun to drink coffee out of or even a hot tea. My daughter is like putting juice in it for fun we’re big Lord of the rings fans so this definitely ties into the fan base

This is the size of a double shot glass and you won’t be able to fit more than a finger through the handle. Definitely deceptive photos in the description.
