I bought these as more comfy, 'around the house' or for light hiking use than dedicated ski socks.So depending on what your expectations are, this may be either a benefit or a drawback.Key points include:1- theyre 70% cotton (so thats comfortable but not ideal if you're going to be sweating a lot as it doesnt 'wick' away quite like wool/synthetics).2- they're not ultra-padded and thick like most ski socks. This is good for me since I'll be wearing them with normal shoes and thicker socks are too tight.3- very long and do not fall down during the day. I HATE pulling my socks up throughout the day with boots or long pants.4- they appear well made, although I find it odd that they sewed "L" and "R" to distinguish the socks when there isnt really any visible distinction between the build of the sock from left to right.5- the inside is slightly more fluffy than the outside (see photo) and i've found them sufficiently warm so far.I wear a size 10.5 Wide and they fit very comfortably and 3 pair for the current price seems like a good deal to me.My only real concern is that I'm prone to wearing out socks on the heel and there's no additional heel material included on these, so we'll see how they hold up over time and I'll report back if they wear out early.Hope this helps!

Good quality overall, and these may be just the ticket for you-no runs, snags, etc., and they pull on easily enough. I thought at first these were the best socks I’ve ever worn-but they are too restrictive ultimately for me. After wearing them for a few weeks I began to notice circulation problems-slight numbness in my feet, leg cramps, even something akin to ED symptoms. That’s when I thought uh-oh what is going on? I didn’t give any thought that the socks that should be helping circulation could be a problem, but when things went back to normal after a week of not wearing them, I decided to get rid of them, and haven’t noticed any negative side effects. Again, these my be perfect for you-I did like the snugness at first-and they are very well made, but just not for me.
