Serious Grit foam sanding pads (220) that I received were nicely packaged and are easy to store. I don’t own a power sander that these will fit, but I didn’t get these for power sanding. I was looking for a flexible sanding pad that I could use for finish sanding corners and on the lathe sand into the groves. They work great and cut well. You can also wash these or do wet or dry sanding. Silicon Carbide holds up well and is always sharp. As the carbide abrasive wears small micro chips break off and it provides a new sharp edge. Most standard standing papers the abrasive just wears out and end up going round. They work very well and leave a good finish, and I love that they are made in the USA.

Great pads. Used the 120 and 220s. Use my Surfprep 3x4 on lots of refinishing projects and these seem to be just as good as the Surfprep ones for a much better price. Also seem to be non-gumming like the Surfprep ones. Will continue buying these. Appreciate that they're made in the USA, as well!

I’ve tried the cheap pads. They look the same, cost less, fall apart after five minutes of actual use. These aren’t those. These are the real deal.First off, the foam is legit. The ½" thickness gives just the right amount of flex without turning into a sponge. Perfect for contoured surfaces or those “I’ll just feather this edge real quick” moments that turn into full-blown projects. The hook-and-loop backing grips solidly and doesn’t peel off mid-sand, and the grit variety is actually useful. You get a good spread, not five of the same useless grit you’ll never touch. They cut clean, don’t clog too fast, and hold up way longer than I expected. I’ve abused a couple past their prime and they still didn’t quit on me. Also, if this matters to you, these are made in the USA. They cost a little more than the imports, but you’re not throwing them away halfway through the job. So in the end, it’s probably cheaper.10/10 would buy again unless they start cutting corners. In that case, I’ll update this review with some choice words.

These are super flexible and pretty durable actually, much longer lasting than we were expecting. They're thin enough that they're extremely flexible and you can even one up super right to fit it into a hole or yeah around all sorts of weird edges, I mean there really wasn't anywhere we were trying to sand that these couldn't get to. Great for wet sanding or dry. We just used them by hand, I'm not sure they would last all that long if you tried hooking them up to any sort of electric sander or anything but they worked GREAT for sanding the plastics on my boyfriend's motorcycle. Awesome for any atobidy sanding I imagine, but I'm sure you could use these on all sorts of surfaces. We got a pack with a variety of different grains, I think my boyfriend still used a lower grit sandpaper at first to remove the paint he wanted to take off (his bike got stolen and the kid was halfway thru spraying it when my boyfriend tracked it down) but these worked great between coats and to smooth everything out.

I have a 3x4 sander and I’ve been using the pads that my local finish supplier sells. A lot of times when sanding profiles they get cuts and slits in the pad and they don’t sand very well. I use serious grit on my festool 5” EQ125 and they work great, so I figured I’d give these a shot…..50 times better. They sand really well and don’t split and come apart like the other pads
