El ya posee un microscopio con una serie de portaobjetos ya preparados, pero quería darle una mayor variedad de muestras. En este sentido, esta colección tiene una amplia variedad de muestras preparadas, desde tejidos vegetales hasta células animales, ofreciendo una experiencia educativa y entretenida. Esta colección es perfecta para despertar la curiosidad de los niños.Cada portaobjetos revela un mundo microscópico sorprendente, desde la estructura de una hoja hasta la complejidad de un insecto. Good for a basic introduction to microscopy for kids. The quality of the haematoxylin and eosin stained sections is a bit disappointing, but the plant sections are pretty good.

This set of microscope slides is perfect for kids interested in science. The specimens are well labeled and provide a good learning experience.

While this set isn't professional grade, it's quite decent. I'd say it's a sight better than the sets of slides that come with cheap microscopes --- and can hold its own against high school classroom level slides. With a 25x eyepiece, I was able to bring it to the 40x objective and the slide was crisp and clear (i.e. at 1000x mag). Not bad. The staining was decent, though a couple of slides had their central exhibit off-center (in one case it was near the edge of the central region). The cut was thin, approximately 1/2 cell thick on the stem sample, so almost everything was on a single focal plane. I really think this is a solid set of slides.
